Three people, including an innocent child, have died in a late night hit-n-run case in Sitamarhi district. Six people were badly injured in the accident. The incident took place in Mohanpur, located on the Sitamarhi-Bariarpur road, about three kilometers away from Sitamarhi city. On Tuesday night at around 11 pm, an uncontrolled truck crushed the tempo badly. Three people died on the spot. The condition of all six injured is said to be critical.

With the help of local people, the police admitted all the injured people to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Due to the serious situation, the death toll may also increase. However, three have died so far. The police reached the spot after receiving the information and are busy investigating the matter. The truck driver managed to escape after the incident. Whereas the tempo was tested. It is being told that the tempo was going from Sitamarhi railway station to Ramanagara village of Bathnaha police station. The passengers alighting from Sitamarhi train were traveling on tempos.

It is said that 10 people were traveling in it. Meanwhile the incident happened. After the incident, the truck driver fled with the vehicle. On receiving information about the same incident, 112 and Mehsaul OP police reached the spot and brought the injured to Sadar Hospital in their vehicle. The deceased has been identified as Mohd., a resident of Nepal. Nasho Khan, resident of Fatehpur, Riga police station area, Samsul, has been portrayed as Khajida Khatoon, daughter of Roza Ansari, resident of Ramanagara. Considering the serious condition of the other injured person, he has been referred outside.

Here, at Sadar Hospital, Sadar SDPO Van Ram Krishna, SDM Sanjeev Kumar reached the spot and started relief work. In this regard, SDPO Sadar Ram Krishna said that as soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started relief and rescue operations. Three people have died. Six people have been injured. All the injured are being treated.
